We visit potential clients, get to know what they are interested in doing and any ideas they may have about their new landscape, patio , etc. A design is drawn up based on the information collected and a proposal written. We them meet with the client and go over the design and the proposal, make any changes they may want and close the sale. The foreman can be running projects for both residential and commercial clients. Our project range is from 1 day projects to several months on a project. We currently have openings for design/sales, crew foreman and general summer labor.

DESIGN / SALES PERSON
We would like you to have a minimum education of an Associates Degree in Landscape Construction & Design, but we do consider on the job training as education. Knowledge in Plant ID, Plant Pathology, insect and disease problems, have excellent communication skills to speak with potential clients and fellow employees. Know the installation procedures for retaining walls, brick patios, other hardscape items and plant installation. Knowledge of Microsoft office, Computer Aided Design programs is very helpful. We are currently using PRO Landscape software for our landscape design program. You will be responsible to talk with potential clients, create a design based on the clients ideas, prepare a proposal for the design, present the design to the client and close the sale. Will also be responsible to take the crew foreman out he site and explain the design and expectations of the client for the installation. Have item quantities available for ordering and track the completion and job costing of your projects. This is an exciting position because you are taking the project from the concept stage to the finished product! It will give you great satisfaction to see you ideas come to life! Salary and commission depends on experience. Health insurance is offered as well. Company pays 50% of the benefit cost and you pay 50%.
LANDSCAPE CREW FOREMAN
This person must be able to read and understand blue prints, complete site layouts of patios, decks, retaining walls, grill islands, planting beds, trees and shrubs. Knowledge of plant material and identification. You will need to understand and be able to set finished grades for patios, decks and other hardscape items. This person needs to understand drawing scales and do drawing takeoffs on the site, have excellent communication skills to speak with both the sales personal and the client. Should have a CDL and have knowledge on running heavy equipment, (but not necessary). Completing all paperwork for the project and keep the sales person informed on the progress of the job or any additional items that the client may want added. We also travel out of state for projects and it may be necessary to stay away form home for several days while working on these projects. If you have experience with running machinery, reading blue prints, or other landscaping items we can train you to become a crew foreman. Pay scale depends on experience.
LANDSCAPE & MAINTENANCE LABORERS
This person will need to be able to get to work on time and work overtime as needed. Follow directions from the site foreman. Experience is not necessary, we do train new employees and those who excel can receive promotions and increase their salary. Pay scale depends on experience.
